Résumé
The fields on the shores of Lake Lugu are seen here from the mountain above. Here the harvests are done by hand, with the help of neighbours. One can see on the picture which parts of the fields have already been harvested and which parts are still to be harvested. Following principles of mutual help, maize is harvested in each family in turn, around mid-autumn.
Photograph was taken as part of a linguistics field study. This fieldwork was carried out in full immersion, as part of the preparation of a PhD thesis entitled "Phonological documentation, description and analysis of the Shekua dialect of the Na (Mosuo) language (Sichuan, China)".
Les champs en bordure du lac Lugu sont vus ici depuis la montagne qui les surplombe. Ici, la récolte se fait à la main, avec l’aide des voisins. On peut voir ici les parties de champs ayant déjà été récoltées et celles à venir. Selon un principe d’entraide réciproque, les récoltes du maïs se font à tour de rôle vers la mi-automne.
Photographie prise dans le cadre d'une étude de terrain en linguistique. Ce terrain a été effectué en immersion complète, dans le cadre de la préparation d'une thèse de doctorat intitulée "Documentation, description et analyse phonologique du parler na de Shekua (Sichuan, Chine)".
