Shagnum patches in the replanting area of La Guette peatland (France)
Résumé
Illustration of a Sphagnum patch in an ecological restoration area in peatland of La Guette (France, Sologne), invaded by vascular plants. The replanting area measures 600m² and consists of an area completely stripped of vegetation. Patches of Sphagnum originating from the peatland were formed and dispersed in the replanting area in order to reconstitute the original vegetation. These restoration works began in 2021.
